ABOUT US

At TRIOA, we believe that every returning citizen deserves a second chance at life. That's why we offer transitional housing that provides a stable and supportive environment for those looking to successfully reenter society. Our goal is to enhance the transition process and provide a necessary bridge between incarceration and independent living. We understand that everyone's journey is unique, and we work with our clients and residents to offer programs and services that meet their specific needs.

Building Foundations For a Brighter Future

The Reentry Institute Of America, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to  assisting in the critical role that stable housing plays in helping to break the cycle of poverty and crime.  One of the key challenges faced by individuals transitioning back into society is the lack of suitable housing options. Without stable housing, individuals often struggle to find steady employment, access support services, and reintegrate effectively into their communities. TRIOA aims to address this pressing need and provide a foundation for success and stability for these individuals and their families.

implementing pathways to change

TRIOA is a two-pronged powerhouse aimed at reshaping the landscape of employment and housing opportunities for returning citizens in the United States.

Our first prong is dedicated to training America's leading corporations providing the tools and knowledge necessary to implement Fair Chance Hiring practices.  TRIOA partners with corporations to foster a culture of inclusivity, harness the untapped potential of a significant workforce, reap the numerous benefits of diversification, challenge the stigma associated with past criminal justice involvement and offer returning citizens a fair chance at meaningful employment.  Approximately 70 million working age Americans face constant discrimination in the workforce due to their criminal history. TRIOA's first prong is committed to bridging this gap and creating a more equitable job market.

Our second prong focuses on providing incentivized transitional housing for returning citizens. Recognizing stable housing as the cornerstone of successful reentry, TRIOA offers beautifully manicured housing options. Here, residents are not merely provided with shelter but the environment and support needed to rebuild their lives. Through this comprehensive approach, including individualized employment plans tailored to each resident's unique circumstances, TRIOA empowers returning citizens to reintegrate successfully into society. By addressing both employment barriers and housing insecurities, TRIOA aims to be a driving force in enabling the reentry population to become self-sufficient, contributing members of their communities, thus fostering a more inclusive and prosperous America.
